Life Nova Plus is currently looking for a reliable and experienced Ambulance Driver to join the team. The incumbent will be responsible for safely driving the ambulance to transfer patients, handling dispatch and drop off samples as needed.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Drive the ambulance safely to both emergency and non-emergency locations.
- Support Medical Teams with the safe loading and unloading of patients, and ensuring secure transfer to medical facilities.
- Remain calm under pressure while navigating challenging road conditions or emergency situations.
- Transport medical samples to the laboratory or hospital as required, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Keep record of all dispatches and patient transfers for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Ensure the ambulance is clean, safe, and in fully operational condition, including conducting regular checks and addressing promptly any maintenance issues.
- Comply with all traffic laws.
- Ensure all vehicle-related documentation (insurance, registration, maintenance records) is up to date.
Qualification and experience:
- SC/ HSC
- Proven experience as an ambulance driver or similar driving position is preferred.
- Experience in dispatching documents or medical samples will be a plus.
Licensing:
- Goods vehicle Licence mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to effectively manage additional tasks.
