Our client, a leading company in its industry and part of an international group, is urgently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Accounts Officer to join their accounting department.

Our client, a leading company in its industry and part of an international group, is urgently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Accounts Officer to join their accounting department.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of VAT and TDS returns, including annual statutory returns.
  • Assist in handling MRA examinations of returns and assessments.
  • Maintain all schedules and reconcile up to the trial balance for corporate tax computations.
  • Processing and updating of accounting entries.
  • Assist in periodical internal or external audit exercises.
  • Any other cognate duties as and when required.               

Your Profile:

  • Partly ACCA Qualified / Equivalent Certificate in Accounting or any equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of domestic tax legislations
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., SAP)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Highly organised with attention to details
  • Trustworthiness and self confidence
