We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our healthcare organization's finance team. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily financial operation within our healthcare setting. The Accounts Clerk will report to the Accountant.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Payable – Reconciliation of supplier statement of account and invoice processing.
  2. Bank Reconciliation – Data capturing and assist in bank reconciliation exercise
  3. Doctor relation – Assist in professional fee payment and attend queries from doctors
  4. Statutory Return: Reconcile and assist in statutory return
  5. Accounts closure – Assist the team in data capturing for accruals, prepayments and other journal entries
  6. Cash Management – Monitor daily cash deposits and assist in cash counts
  7. Stock Management - Assist in stock count exercise and spot checks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or ACCA level 1.
  • Previous internship or entry-level experience in accounting, or healthcare finance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
