Our client is seeking to recruit an Accounts & Administrative Assistant to support the finance department in managing daily financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and helping ensure the smooth operation of the accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist in preparing VAT returns and other tax-related documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
- Help maintain the filing system and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
- Support any other cognate duties.
Profile:
- Higher School Certificate.
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous, but entry-level candidates with relevant education will be considered.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
