Position requirements:
Very strong bookkeeping and Excel skills
Strong academic results
At least partly ACCA/ACA qualified with working experience
Good written/oral English and French
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make all necessary entries and recording in Excel
- Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial entries, documents and reports to assess accuracy and correct errors and inconsistencies
- Prepare bank reconciliation for client accounts on a daily basis
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Verify daily bank transactions
- Prepare VAT, TDS, PAYE, NPF, APS, and CTX returns and monitor accuracy of information
- Maintain the Company’s asset register and depreciation schedule.
- Prepare payment vouchers, bank transfer instructions, cash and cheque payments,
- Prepare and send invoices and receipts of payment
- Manage petty cash
- Closely monitor accruals and prepayments
- Manage and follow up on debtors
- Work with external auditors
- Any other cognate duties
