Position requirements: Very strong bookkeeping and Excel skills Strong academic results At least partly ACCA/ACA qualified with working experience Good written/oral English and French

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make all necessary entries and recording in Excel
  • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial entries, documents and reports to assess accuracy and correct errors and inconsistencies
  • Prepare bank reconciliation for client accounts on a daily basis
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Verify daily bank transactions
  • Prepare VAT, TDS, PAYE, NPF, APS, and CTX returns and monitor accuracy of information
  • Maintain the Company’s asset register and depreciation schedule.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, bank transfer instructions, cash and cheque payments,
  • Prepare and send invoices and receipts of payment
  • Manage petty cash
  • Closely monitor accruals and prepayments
  • Manage and follow up on debtors 
  • Work with external auditors
  • Any other cognate duties
