• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, which includes the preparation of journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly & quarterly analytics and fluctuation analyses
• Compile and analyze financial information to help with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Coordinate with all levels of employees, management, and external parties to help ensure complete and accurate accounting in assigned areas
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for both internal and external audit requests
• Assist in the identification and resolution of accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Assist in other areas of accounting and complete ad hoc projects as needed

Your Expertise

Accounting skills: Demonstrated ability to perform general ledger accounting tasks related to the month-end accounting close process to include journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis, as well as the proven ability to prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audit purposes.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Communication skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication; including the ability to effectively document procedures performed and analysis of results

Capability to successfully operate independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and meet deadlines

Learner mindset: Desire to be mentored and the ability to accept coaching and constructive feedback
