Accountant

Join a dynamic team! We're looking for a seasoned Accountant (5+ years) to lead financial management and drive success for an SBU.

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead the accounting team and support the financial management of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing statutory accounts, providing management reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your expertise will be vital in guiding decision-making and enhancing financial controls. 

• Lead the accounting team and provide effective support towards the management of the SBU;
• Preparation of statutory accounts;
• Preparation of management reports to assist management in the decision making process;
• Daily cash flow monitoring;
• Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, bankers and other commercial partners;
• Review, update and implement policies and procedure to ensure effective financial control and management;
• Prepare feasibility studies for new projects;
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with the authorities;
• Participate in the review of financial information of the company and make recommendations for improvement;
• Ensure and advise management on the statutory requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• Weekly report to the Management;
• Any other cognate duties which relates to the running of the Accounting Department.
