You will conduct site surveys, measure works, take off quantities, request quotes, prepare bills of quantities and tender documents, compile material orders, measure variations, and generate valuation certificates and cost reports. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial & Cost Control: Measure works, prepare valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Contractual: Understand contract documentation, monitor bonds and guarantees, assist with contractual claims, and provide dispute resolution support.
- Procurement: Advise on procurement strategy, review quotations, negotiate with contractors / subcontractors, and ensure timely and compliant procurement.
- Commercial: Build strong client relationships, assist in post-tender negotiations, and manage commercial risks while optimizing cost and value.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: BSc in Quantity Surveying
- Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, cost control, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a quantity surveying role within the construction industry.
