In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the server-side logic for our web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and manage efficient and secure APIs to facilitate communication between different parts of the application.
• Develop and implement a strong data model using MongoDB.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and development lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Experience with building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for building high-quality software.

Bonus points

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
