Accounts Clerk: Minimum SC with pass in Accounting
Accounts Officer: Minimum ACCA level 1 or equivalent plus work experience in same post
COMPETENCIES:
1. The ability to reconcile all revenues collected on a daily basis. To check balances against accounting receipt records in a timely manner.
2. The ability to classify and update accounting records manually or electronically.
3. The ability to prepare cheques for payment to suppliers, and other authorities
4. The ability to update the diary of Accounts Department on a daily basis and proper filing
5. The ability to submit/ post important documents in a timely manner
6. The ability to adhere to procedures laid down for payment to suppliers or for services
7. Other cognate duties
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year in the Accounting field.
QUALIFICATION
HSC with credit in at least five subjects, Acca level 1 or any other equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of Accounting software/SAP will be a definite advantage
