Winners is recruiting a system administrator to join the IT department to ensure the proper running of the IT department.
Main Duties:
- Follow up IT issues with supermarkets.
- Install, configure and test applications.
- Install and ensure good running of staff computers.
- Install and configure mail for staff, and ensure good running.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.
- Apply and configurate OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
- Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware.
- Assist in the day to day running and administration of all IT infrastructure, including networking and security.
- Communication effectively with team.
Qualification:
Holder of a diploma/degree in IT from recognize institution
Experience
Minimum of 3 years working experience (Windows Server, Networking & SAN)
Experience of other database systems, preferably SQL Server.
Extensive experience with VMware
