Storekeeper

The Storekeeper will be assigned on a construction site and will need to have enriched experience in the field.

Roles and responsibilities

To ensure proper storage of items on site by using correct bins, racks in order to facilitate item movement and ensure that those in stock for longer period can be used first.

To make used of proper usage of resources.
To monitor and record movements of all tools, equipment and plant issued from/to Site
To supervise repairs and maintenance of scaffolding equipment
To supervise delivery of materials /equipment from/to sites

3. Inventory Control

To carry out inventory of scaffolding equipment on a regular basis
To carry out inventory in Store and keep proper stock records
To assist the Cost Clerk reconciliation statements of scaffolding, tools, equipment and plant

To ensure that Store register book is kept up to date
To do follow up on the replenishment of materials
To ensure that the Store is kept in order and equipments are in good working conditions
To ensure that requisition is processed accurately and on a timely basis.

To keep Store tidy and orderly.
To demonstrate a customer centric behaviour.
To ensure all operations are executed as efficiently as possible.
To ensure Company procedures and policies are strictly adhered to by all team members.
To abide to Company’s Code of Conduct.
To safeguard confidential information and observes the rule of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
To instil a culture of continuous improvement.
To uphold the Company’s interests, image and reputation.
To treat everyone in the company with due respect and in a fair manner.
To ensure that the teamwork spirit prevails and that all team members are able to contribute to the organisation to their full potential.
To perform any other cognate duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications and experience

A certificate or diploma from a recognised institution.

A proven track record in the caapcity of Storekeeper in the construction sector.
