Exciting opportunity to join an expanding international company as a Junior Project Manager!
The role of the Junior Project Manager will be to assist in the monitoring, controlling, tracking and communication of a project’s performance. It would suit someone with an Administrative or Secretarial background.
Location: Tamarin, Mauritius
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, review & document the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle;
- Establishing clear project plans for each project;
- Constant monitoring and control of all project variables;
- Tracking of deliverables & timelines according to detailed project plans;
- Coordinating with stakeholders frequently for updates on project status;
- Effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure project success;
- Informing stakeholders about abnormalities or variance in advance;
- Update and maintain project/financial reporting tools and/or computer software systems and filing systems;
- Frequently update project manager of project status;
- Create study specific agreements, service requests or contracts per request from Project Management;
- Distribute, track and file all agreements generated and authorized;
- Perform duties according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Perform duties to comply with the relevant study agreements;
- Perform additional tasks and activities as delegated and allocated by the Line Manager or designee.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree
- 1 to 3 years’ experience is a definite advantage but graduates may also apply
- Should be a Mauritian citizen
- Fluency in English is a MUST
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Teams is a plus
Must have:
- Solid knowledge and application of general office administration;
- Systematic organizational skills and multitask competent;

- Be customer service oriented;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Effective time management skills with the ability to deliver according to scheduled timelines;

- Manage personal timelines according to tasks assigned;
- Ability to work after hours when required;
- Good teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and managers;
- Well-established software and computer skills including MS Office 365 applications.
