Our Client a well reputed international firm is looking for a Marketing Assistant – Content

 

Purpose

As a Marketing Assistant – Content within our Marketing Operations Team, you will play a vital role in crafting compelling and persuasive content to promote our complex products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to translate technical information into clear, engaging, and easily understandable messaging that resonates with our target audience. You will work closely with the product, marketing team, sales, client services & learning and development teams to develop content for various channels, including websites, product brochures, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, social media and internal and external trainings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Content Creation:
    • Write clear, concise, and engaging copy that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and value propositions of our complex products and solutions.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, researcher and technical teams to understand product specifications, functionality, and competitive differentiation.
    • Translate technical information and industry jargon into language that is accessible and compelling to a non-technical audience.
    • Develop content for marketing materials, including website copy, product descriptions, landing pages, blog posts, and marketing collateral.

 

  • Message Simplification:
    • Simplify complex concepts and messaging to make them more accessible and understandable to our target audience.
    • Use storytelling techniques to illustrate the value and benefits of our products in real-world scenarios.
    • Break down technical details into digestible chunks and highlight key features and benefits in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing materials and channels.

 

  • Content Optimisation:
    • Optimise content for search engines (SEO) by incorporating relevant keywords and phrases to improve visibility and ranking in search results.
    • In conjunction with the research team, conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, and integrate findings into content development.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to A/B test different messaging approaches and refine content based on performance data and user feedback.

 

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, clear, and concise copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and the capacity to simplify complex concepts into easy-to-understand messaging.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in written content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing communications, preferably in a technical or B2B environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or related field.
