HR Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator holds a position of strategic importance within the hotel. His/her responsibilities include key areas of staff care, welfare and communication, having a direct effect on staff morale, well-being and motivation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities, and may be revised from time to time, depending on the business exigencies. 

• Prepare and advertise monthly welfare and entertainment program for the staff.
• Organize games, tournaments, sports events, social activities, indoor and outdoor activities for the staff.
• Motivate the staff to participate in the various activities.
• Retransmit, record and broadcast any events relating to HR, e.g. staff welfare activities, training sessions, workshops, general meetings, etc
• Lead the welfare team in the delivery of the different activities during the year
• Prepare, monitor and control the staff welfare expenses and budget.
• Visit regularly the staff accommodations and observe their housing and general living conditions and recommend improvements if necessary
• In cooperation with the HR Administrator, organize transfers of new staff to the staff accommodation.
• Work with the Executive Housekeeper & Maintenance Manager to ensure all staff facilities and accommodation are well maintained and clean
• Establish communication plan and channels for the resort
• Update the different communication channels with Group, resort, industry, local and international information and news
• Manage all HR and Welfare related office or outdoor equipment and stationary
• Act as liaison officer with the Medical Insurance service provider
• Call/visit sick or injured staff in hospital, home or staff housing to ensure they are taken care of and followed up during recovery period
