Company Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Provide technical support and advice on Management Accounting.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
• Provide input into department’s goal setting process.
• Prepare financial statements, produce budget as per schedule.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls in the company’s matters.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP principles.
• Liaise with the Head of Finance to improve financial procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven 3-5 Years' of Offshore Experience.
• Relevant certification (ACCA, ACA) will be preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and awareness of business trends.
• In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) / Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (V-lookups and pivot tables).
• Experience with Regulators and Auditors, Team Management: The ideal candidate should possess the ability to effectively liaise with regulators and auditors, as well as demonstrate proficiency in team management.
