Job Description
In the view of our business expansion. We are currently seeking for a Stores and Inventory Controller to perform the following:
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
ØEnsure
proper storage of products, equipment and spare parts to facilitate
identification and accessibility, to optimize space & safety, to minimize
damage, while abiding to storage plan.
ØPlan,
organise and
communicate deliveries as and when required.
ØOrganise and
supervise repacking, decanting, production and transfer of chemical products.
ØEnsure
compliance with H&S procedures and regulations in all warehousing
ØEnsure
proper organization, management and supervision of your team’s work (planning,
trainings, overtime monitoring, delegation, back up & peak period
preparation).
ØEnsure
adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock
levels and maintain inventory control.
ØPrepare
Inventory Reports for Finance
ØSupport
annual audits and inventories
ØPerform
regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Investigate stock variances and report discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS
ØHigher
School Certificate with Accounts at principal level or equivalent
would be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite
ØHave
at least 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control or record
keeping.
ØPossess a valid driver's license and
willingness to acquire and maintain a forklift certification.
ØIT literate (Word, Excel, Accounting
Package).
ØGood communication and time management
skills and ability to work under pressure and odd hours.
