We are looking for a reliable, honest and hardworking full-time Housekeeper & Cook to work in a private household.

Location requirement:
Applicant should preferably live in the region between Curepipe and Rose Belle or nearby areas.

Working days and hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Main duties:

The selected person will be required to assist with general household and kitchen duties, including:

• Cleaning and maintaining the house
• Washing and ironing clothes
• Keeping rooms, kitchen, bathroom and common areas clean
• Food preparation and assistance in the kitchen
• Cooking daily meals when required
• Preparing healthy meals
• Cooking both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes
• Handling general household tasks as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times

Requirements:

• Must be honest, punctual and trustworthy
• Must be serious and willing to work full-time
• Must be able to cook non-vegetarian food
• Must be comfortable handling and preparing non-vegetarian food
• Must be able to prepare simple, healthy meals
• Prior experience in household work and cooking will be an advantage
• Should live between Curepipe and Rose Belle or nearby regions

Salary and benefits:

The employee will be paid on a monthly basis.

The employer will register the employee with the MRA and will pay all applicable statutory contributions, including NSF/NPF, PRGF, and any other required contributions as per law.
