Job Description
Fundsmith is a leading investment manager, headquartered in the UK and with offices in USA and Mauritius. The company invests in listed equities and manages over USD $20bn in assets under management across multiple funds.
The company is seeking a high-calibre Junior Product Analyst (Intern) to join its Mauritius office, based in the West. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across trading support, product control and performance analysis within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting investment operations while building a strong foundation in asset management.
Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee upon meeting performance requirements. A competitive remuneration package will be offered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute and monitor trades in accordance with the funds’ investment strategies and risk guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and produce timely reports for management
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliation
- Update performance data, including returns, attribution analysis and factsheets
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow, budgets and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and operational procedures
- Assist team members and provide support functions
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong academic background in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- Good understanding of financial markets and trading principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft MS Office, including Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience
