Job Description

  1. Responsible for greeting every guest upon arrival
  2. Prepare documents and keys required for registration
  3. Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  4. Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments 
  5. Make, confirm, cancel and change reservations
  6. Promptly and courteously attend to telephone calls and text messages, directing as appropriate
  7. Provide information on hotel facilities and services 
  8. Concierge services including booking activities, dining reservations and transport
  9. Provide detailed information about points of interest in the area
  10. Arrange services required for guests with special needs
  11. Ensure guest special requests are efficiently completed
  12. Store and retrieve luggage
  13. Follow emergency and safety procedures
  14. Provide direction to guests requiring guidance and offering any further assistance, as required 
  15. Training of new team members
  16. Other related duties as assigned by the Front Office leadership team
  17. Contribute to a positive team atmosphere
  18. Tourism & Hospitality experience preferred
  19. Competent in Microsoft Office software (including but not limited to: Word, Outlook, Excel)
  20. Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking
  21. Strong problem-solving skills required
  22. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  23. Knowledge of property and all company services offered
