Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff.
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
- Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts.
- Ensure excellent customer service by monitoring service standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Interact with customers to gather feedback and improve service quality.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces.
- Assist on budgeting and financial planning for the food and beverage department.
- Monitor expenses and manage costs to meet financial targets.
- Analyse sales data and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to develop and update menus.
- Ensure that menu items are cost-effective and meet customer preferences.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on food and beverage trends.
- Plan and coordinate food and beverage services for events and special occasions.
- Ensure smooth execution of events by managing staff and resources effectively.
- Work with clients to customize menus and services to meet their needs.
