Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest services in responding promptly to guest requirements
Must have full understanding of Coffee and Tea Terminology & offerings
Efficiently prepare a wide variety of Speciality Coffees & Teas
Efficiently mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, poured beers & wines according to relevant recipes
Responsible for preparing and/or serving hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees or teas as well as all Cocktails and bar Menu Items
Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions.
Clean & sanitize work areas, utensils & equipment
Check temperature of freezers, refrigerators & heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
Describe menu items to customers & suggest products that might appeal to them
Order & receive stock supplies & retail products
Serve customers in a helpful/friendly manner
Subtly survey & evaluate customers to ensure no over-consumption
When required, check identification to ensure that customers are within the correct age to purchase alcoholic beverages
Always keep up with cocktail & drink trends
Ensure bar is always clean & presentable & an arrangement of attractive bottles of glassware are on display
Ensure that guests are billed correctly
Accurate monthly stock-takes
End of shift closure is done correctly & balanced prior to cash up
Admin tasks when required
Any other duties that may be required
