Job Description
- Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
- Ensure that the preparation, cooking & preparation of all meals are per company standard
- Ensure that all pastries & desserts are of highest quality & continually stay abreast of trends
- Comply with standards of service & assist in assuring the same from all kitchen staff
- Assist in any other section of kitchen where required
- Controlling costs
- Ensure smooth running in absence of Chef de Partie
- Stay abreast of new trends
- Ensure that work areas are always kept clean
- Overseeing that all food items are prepared on time to quality standards
- Ensure that all kitchen staff consistently adhere to uniform, grooming and health & safety standards as per HACCP
- To continually maintain the highest standards of hygiene within the property
- Any other duties that may be required
