Maritime & Cross-Border Operations

Port Louis, Mauritius | On-site position
Super Group Trading Ltd is seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Executive for its Afrex Ltd division, based on-site in Port Louis, Mauritius, to manage procurement activities and coordinate international maritime shipments and cross-border movements.
This hands-on role combines procurement, logistics planning, day-to-day operational support and client relationship management. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, exercises sound commercial judgement and works proactively to deliver reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
- Plan and coordinate maritime shipments and cross-border movements with international suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters and clearing agents.
- Monitor orders and shipments, anticipate delays and resolve operational issues to meet delivery commitments.
- Ensure shipping, trade and customs documentation is accurate, complete and available on time.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, respond to enquiries, provide timely updates and participate in customer meetings.
- Monitor procurement and logistics costs, evaluate service-provider performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide regular reports on orders, shipments, costs and outstanding matters.
- Support daily operations and undertake other duties related to the position.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Logistics is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain operations, with international exposure, including maritime shipping and cross-border movements.
- Practical knowledge of international trade procedures, Incoterms, shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Experience working with international suppliers, clients and logistics partners.
