Job Profile
Industech Ltd is looking for a technical electrical & Control Engineer to provide technical knowledge to develop projects engaged in the Electrical & Automation department. The Engineer will conduct research to help determine project needs, industry standards and other relevant data together with the commercial aspect
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Engineering
- Design and review electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, and control panels
- Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and Automation documents.
- Select appropriate equipment such as cables, switchgear, protection devices, drives and automation parts
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and requirements
- 2. Technical Support and Pre-Sales
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions
- Provide technical input for quotations, tenders, and bills of quantities
- Support the sales team (or prepare) with product specifications, datasheets, and technical clarifications
- Attend client meetings and site surveys when required
3. Project Execution and Site Supervision
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical & control systems
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines
- Monitor project progress, cost, and quality, and report any issues or delays
- Verify that work is carried out according to drawings and specifications
4. Testing, Commissioning and Troubleshooting
- Carry out inspections, functional tests, and performance checks before handover
- Diagnose and resolve electrical & Control faults and equipment failures
- Recommend corrective actions and improvements
5. Maintenance and After-Sales Support
- Plan and support preventive and corrective maintenance programmes
- Respond to customer technical queries and warranty issues
- Provide handover documentation, operating instructions, and basic customer training
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Experience: 4-5 years in electrical design, installation, or technical support (graduate roles may accept less)
- Technical skills: AutoCAD or similar design software, knowledge of LV/MV systems, PLCs, drives and control panels, electrical standards
- Soft skills: Problem-solving, clear communication, teamwork, time management, attention to detail
