About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in Pamplemousses.

This is an entry-level opportunity suited to a fresh accounting graduate or an individual currently pursuing ACCA who is looking to build practical experience in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance activities
• Process invoices, receipts, payments and other accounting documents
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules and supporting documents
• Assist with monthly reporting and financial documentation
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments when required
• Support the accounting team with general administrative and finance-related tasks
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Fresh graduate in Accounting, Finance or a related field, OR currently pursuing ACCA
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop within an accounting environment

The ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable, organised and eager to develop a career in accounting. Previous work experience is not essential, but internships or exposure to accounting would be an advantage.

Location: Candidates based in or able to commute to Pamplemousses are preferred.
