ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, group financial consolidation, compliance with statutory requirements, and the delivery of timely management information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.

•  Perform journal postings, ledger reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

•  Ensure timely and accurate completion of bank reconciliations.

•  Monitor and review payments, banking transactions and accounts payable activities.

•  Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules.

•  Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation reports.

•  Produce statutory financial statements and board reporting packs.

•  Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis exercises.

•  Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and regulatory obligations.

•  Liaise with finance teams across business units to support reporting and consolidation activities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

•  Degree in Accounting or Finance, or ACCA Level 3 nearly completed or fully qualified.

•  Minimum five years of experience in accounting and finance.

•  Experience in financial consolidation and statutory reporting.

•  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.

•  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of Sage.

•  Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

•  Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
