Job Description
You will be responsible for delivering our NC3 and CTH programmes, while supporting the coordination and monitoring of apprenticeship programmes.
You will play an important role in ensuring quality learning delivery, strong learner engagement and successful outcomes across the Academy’s programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging classroom and practical training within your area of expertise.
- Deliver NC3, CTH and other professional or vocational programmes in line with approved curricula.
- Prepare course content, lesson plans, learning materials, assessments and training resources.
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
- Inspire, guide and support young learners throughout their development journey.
- Conduct learner orientation and support the induction of new students.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Monitor learners during apprenticeship and workplace placements.
- Coordinate assessments, examinations and programme requirements.
- Liaise with awarding and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Maintain accurate learner records, training documentation and reports.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of training plans and budgets.
- Continuously review training practices and recommend improvements.
- Keep up to date with hospitality trends, vocational education practices and learning technologies.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management or a related field.
- Practical experience within the Rooms Division, such as Front Office, Housekeeping or Guest Services.
- Some experience in training, facilitation, coaching or knowledge-sharing.
- A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them grow.
- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- A positive, engaging and supportive approach to learning.
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and digital learning tools.
- An interest in vocational education, learner assessment and new training technologies.
Experience with NC3, CTH programmes, competency-based training or apprenticeship coordination would be an advantage.
Flexibility may occasionally be required, including training outside normal working hours, on weekends or public holidays, depending on programme requirements.
