Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and performance dashboards.
- Analyse financial results and explain variances against budget and forecast.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Develop, review, and maintain product costing and standard costing models.
- Calculate and analyse product cost prices (cost of goods manufactured) to ensure accurate costing and pricing decisions.
- Perform detailed margin and profitability analyses by product, customer, and business segment.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, including material consumption, labour costs, and production overheads.
- Analyse production variances and recommend corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales teams to support pricing strategies, cost optimisation, and profitability improvements.
- Prepare financial analyses and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing financial performance and operational excellence.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Diploma / Bac +2 in Accounting or a related field
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Possesses effective communication skills and can work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Has experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
- Is proactive and solution-oriented
