Senior Internal Auditor

Skills / experience / qualifications required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Internal Auditing (CIA advantageous)
• 3-5 years' experience in an internal audit role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Experience with data visualisation tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and people skills

Job description:

• Prepare for and conduct audits across business units in line with objectives and methodology
• Document process walkthroughs and flag high-risk areas
• Identify risks, controls, and recommend improvements
• Design and perform control testing using sampling methodology
• Draft and present final audit reports to stakeholders
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
• Give regular feedback to your manager throughout each audit
• Support the growth of the internal audit function
• Recommend updates to policies and procedures
