Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to take responsibility for the full range of Human Resources activities across our main operations and subsidiaries. This is a broad and varied role covering the entire employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys taking ownership and working closely with people and the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Selection: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviews, selection and offers.
  • Onboarding: Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, including induction, integration and probation follow-up.
  • Learning & Development: Identify development needs and coordinate training and capability-building initiatives.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Coordinate the performance management cycle and support managers in addressing performance matters, Support Talent Identification when required.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, conflict resolution and complex employee cases.
  • Labour Disputes & Court Cases: Manage employment-related disputes and court cases, including coordination with legal counsel and relevant authorities, preparation of documentation and representation of the organisation where required.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare: Develop and coordinate initiatives that support employee engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the main site and subsidiaries.

  • Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A University Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of progressive, hands-on HR experience, with practical exposure across several HR functions;
  • Candidates with prior experience at managerial level will have an advantage - however candidates who have significant hands-on experience may also apply. 
  • Good knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations practices;
  • Ability to handle disciplinary matters, grievances and complex employee situations with confidence and sound judgement;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • High levels of integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.
