About ECS Training Institute

ECS Training Institute (ETI) is the dedicated training arm of Electrical & Control Specialists Ltd (ECS Ltd). We provide high-quality professional and technical training solutions designed to support workforce development and industrial excellence in Mauritius and across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify and acquire new B2B clients.
  • Promote and sell training solutions to corporate customers.
  • Analyse client needs and proposes tailored training programmes.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts. 

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and HR professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business.

Partnerships & Representation

  • Develop partnerships with public institutions, professional associations and industrial stakeholders.
  • Represent ECS Training Institute at business events, exhibitions and networking activities.

Reporting & Commercial Strategy

  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
  • Produce regular sales reports and pipeline updates.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the institute's commercial strategy.

Personal Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and results orientation.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and organised.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior management and professional audiences.
  • Team player with strong collaborative skills.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B business development.
  • Experience in professional training, industrial services or technical sectors would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record in sales, account management and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of the Mauritian industrial sector (EPC, Manufacturing, Electrical & Automation industries) is highly desirable.
