Job
Title: IT Manager / Software Development Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager with strong
software development expertise to lead our IT operations and development
initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge,
particularly in PHP development, system architecture, database management, and
web application development. This role combines strategic IT leadership with
active participation in software design, development, deployment, and
maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
IT Management
- Oversee
and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and
security.
- Develop
and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure
high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems.
- Manage
IT projects, budgets, vendors, and technology resources.
- Lead,
mentor, and develop IT and software development teams.
Software Development
- Design,
develop, and maintain web-based applications using PHP and related
technologies.
- Review,
optimize, and troubleshoot application code to ensure performance,
scalability, and security.
- Collaborate
with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into
technical solutions.
- Implement
and maintain APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
- Ensure
adherence to coding standards, version control, and software development
best practices.
Technical Leadership
- Lead
system architecture planning and technology selection.
- Drive
digital transformation and automation initiatives.
- Evaluate
emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- Conduct
code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers.
- Ensure
compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance
standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's
degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or a related field.
- Minimum
5 years of experience in IT management, software development, or a similar
leadership role.
- Strong
proficiency in PHP and modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter,
or Symfony.
- Experience
with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Solid
understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience
with Linux servers, cloud platforms, and web hosting environments.
- Knowledge
of cybersecurity principles, networking, and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong
project management and team leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience
with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge
of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity
with Docker, Git, and containerized deployments.
- Experience
managing ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems.
- Strong
analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
