ABC Motors Company Ltd is currently looking for a Workshop Manager.
Your role:
- To supervise the daily operations of the workshop.
- Ensuring excellent customer service.
- Address operational and technical issues in a timely manner.
- Attend to and participate in meetings.
- Deploy agreed business strategy aim to exceed departmental profitability.
- Assist Operations Manager in new projects.
- Good record keeping of attendance and overtime.
- Daily focus on labour hours and productivity.
- Take ownership of daily planning.
- Approve job flow in workshop in a disciplined manner.
- Adhere to health and safety; and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities and be able to inculcate a health and safety culture to employees.
- Customer Satisfaction and be able to deal with customers (Very customer centric approach).
- Understand mechanical workshop operations.
Qualification & Knowledge:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related studies.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position (Preferably in Automobile Sector).
- Knowledge Dealer Management System will be an added bonus.
- Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to listen to clients’ needs
- Strong mechanical background.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- Team-oriented.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Possess a valid car driving license.
