To actively promote and sell 20/Vin products by delivering outstanding customer service in alignment with Grays' established standards and procedures.
Key/Primary Responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell wines and spirits while delivering excellent customer service, adhering to 20/Vin’s established standards.
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador by embracing monthly themes, showcasing in-depth product knowledge, and fostering strong client relationships.
- Assist customers in selecting products best suited to their preferences and needs.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge through self-learning and participation in training sessions.
- Consistently meet monthly sales forecasts, focusing on increasing the average basket size and sales of high-margin products.
- Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and manage stock rotation and replenishment efficiently.
- Verify incoming requisitions by unpacking and checking quantities against delivery notes.
- Support daily store operations by following established policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the shop during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a clean, tidy retail space and ensure the upkeep of outdoor areas, if applicable.
- Report on competitors' activities and suggest new sales opportunities to the Head of Retail.
- Accurately handle financial transactions, ensuring compliance with bank deposit and remittance protocols.
- Effectively communicate promotions and new product to clients.
- Introduce and explain loyalty programs to every new client.
- Update the client database and ensure proper record-keeping in line with data protection protocols.
- Safeguard internal information and ensure the confidentiality of brand performance details.
- Administer daily shop operations, including stock logs, invoices, and inventory transactions.
- Report maintenance or security issues to the Shop Supervisor promptly.
Education and Competences
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales of Wine and Spirits products.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts.
- Passion for customer service, sales, and product knowledge.
- High School Certificate (HSC) required; Diploma in Marketing or Sales would be an advantage.
- Fluent in English, French and Creole.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance in compliance with the company’s grooming and uniform guidelines.
