Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge and assist in diverse facets of corporate governance procedures under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Provide assistance to our field management team by handling paperwork, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records with precision and efficiency.
- Interact with clients professionally and courteously, ensuring their queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
- Organize and maintain legal documents and correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Perform day-to-day administration, drafting documents and letters, including annual reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Handle filing, scanning of statutory files, and updating information on the internal system within set deadlines.
- Carry out day-to-day administration including corporate work, preparing board packs, attending board meeting and drafting of minutes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree Holder
- While prior experience is not required, enthusiasm to learn and grow in the role is essential
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and other office software is a plus.
General Skills
- Basic understanding of corporate governance principles and legal procedures is advantageous
- Proactive and highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills
- Fluent in both oral and written English and French
- Ability to plan and prioritize work and mobilize resources effectively
- Capable of working under pressure and adhering to tight deadlines.
