The Finance department of ABC Coach Works Ltd is looking for a Trainee Accounts Clerk to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts status
- To balancing daily cash takings by reconciling the cash in hand
- To obtain all relevant documentation required for the processing of invoices
- To prepare daily and monthly reports with respect to invoicing
Key Traits:
- Minimum HSC Holder
- Holder of an ACCA Level 1 certification would be a plus.
- Fluent in English and French
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
