Traffic Manager

The Traffic manager will be accountable for ensuring smooth flow of work across available resources based on their skillset and client demand.

The Traffic manager will be accountable for ensuring smooth flow of work across available resources based on their skillset and client demand. You will be working closely with the Operations and PM management to ensure timely completion of all required daily and weekly deliverables, and proactively flag and manage any issues related to capacity

Key roles and responsibilities of Traffic Manager are as follows:

• Plan daily production based on incoming volume and deliverables, available staff, attendance, skillset and business priorities
• Maximize effective utilization and productivity of staff, and minimize required overtime
• Work in collaboration with Business Services, Operations and PM team to ensure a robust resiliency plan for BCP
• Effective crisis management in case of emergency (technology outage, site shutdown etc.) and re-route traffic to ensure minimal disruption to operations and client deliverables
• To ensure regular and effective internal communication through Operations and PM team on the progress of all jobs, flagging any issues proactively to ensure timely resolution
• Ensure adherence to corporate standards and system usage when assigning work or re-routing traffic
• Liaise with counterparts in other regions to re-route overflows to and from other sites
• Ensure effective and clear communication regarding priorities for work assignment and traffic management to all stakeholders

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in similar field
• Knowledge of packaging pre-press industry an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English, Bilingual in English/French an asset
• Flexible, Team player, Self-motivated
• Ability to adapt in fast changing environment and handle pressure and strict deadlines
• Results Driven and customer centric
