Our client is looking for a Technical Sales/ HSE Manager.

Purpose: The Technical Sales/ HSE Manager is responsible in coordinating sale and hire operations and procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.

Reports to : Managing Director

Scope: the Technical Sales/ SHE Manager is providing marketing services to the company and ensuring the safety of all staff. This including quoting, selling, technical and safety advice to customers & Staff and budgeting for the company.

MAIN TASKS

Sales Services:

  • Organise and manage the sales/commercial business unit
  • Client loyalty/service quality
  • Review invoicing and credit control of clients
  • Managing budget development and implementation
  • Liaise with group companies, suppliers and clients locally and internationally
  • Involve in site closure discussion

Safety, Health & Environment

  • To be actively involved in communicating information including our HSE policies to all stakeholders.
  • To comply with site rules and HSE plan and ensure that our employees comply
  • To provide workers with site-specific induction
  • To conduct risk assessment study before starting a new site
  • Ensure safe systems of work are adopted on site and work permit issued when required Ensure that employees are provided with the appropriate PPEs and that they make proper use of same at all times on site
  • To assist in accident and incident investigations ensuring that appropriate records and notifications are completed.
  • Carry out regular HSE site inspections and follow up any corrective action required.
  • Prepare a HSE Training report for the monthly management meetings.
  • Responsible for drawing up the annual training plan in conjunction with the director

MARKET INTELLIGENCE

  • Conduct competitive analysis when require
  • Economic environment
  • Public relations marketingEnsure good market analysis

COMPANY EFFICIENCY

  • Plan & implement systems, layout and equipment procurement
  • Ensure effective transfer of files and communications among staff
  • Maintain and replenish inventory
  • Check stock to determine inventory levels
  • Anticipate needed supplies
  • Review & approve stock requisitions

Academic background

  • Bachelor degree in a technical sector, with minimum 5 years experience in construction business

Knowledge: background in construction business, market intelligence, team supervision, ability to negotiate and plan Skills: interpersonal, team building, decision making, communication, organisational, stress & time management Abilities: honest & trustworthy, respectful, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, sound work ethics
