Our client is seeking to recruit a Team Leader - Accounts Department who will report to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Finance Manager in Overview of accounts payable, receivable & Treasury Dept.
- Ensure expenses are posted in right account code.
- Responsible of Cashiers and good running of Cashiers and print JDC.
- Allocation of Balance sheet items.
- VAT & TDS returns (Reconciliation of Sales vs Returns) and filling of returns.
- Accruals Schedules + monitoring with actual expense + posting.
- Prepayments Schedules + release on a monthly basis check.
- Monthly dashboard for expense analysis.
- Calculation of monthly allowance for bad debts.
- Preparation of monthly Flash on IIFM.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly RDG.
- Posting monthly Payroll and reconciliation with payroll dept.
- Blackline Reporting (with certification and pointage of all balance sheet accounts).
- Yearly purchase of goods and services return to be sent to MRA.
- Assisting with Tax queries (APS & Corp Tax).
- Liaise with Internal & External Auditors.
- Verification of treasury Reporting.
- Global monitoring and coaching of collaborators in their tasks.
- Other tasks relating to accounts and finance.
Profile:
- Degree holder in accounts and finance/ and or ACCA Level 2.
- Methodic, rigorous and attentive to details.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Methodical approach and problem solving skills.
- Trustful person and be bounded by strict duty of confidentiality.
