Tax Consultant (2450-TC)

Our client in the Tax Consulting Sector is currently seeking to recruit a talented Senior Tax Consultant.

Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance - Assist in providing tax compliance services to domestic and global clients.
• Tax Advisory - Advise clients on Mauritius direct and indirect tax matters.
• Tax Litigation - Assist clients in handling MRA examination of returns and assessments.
• AEOI - Advise and assist clients in fulfilling their obligations under FATCA, CRS & CbCr.

Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent or professional qualification in accounting, tax and/or law, e.g. ACCA, ACA.
• At least 1 year proven experience in Mauritius tax matters, with exposure on both tax compliance and tax advisory.
• Exposure to international taxation would be a definite advantage.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Deadline and solution oriented.
• Team player.
• Ability to work diligently without extensive supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French.
