Job Summary

• Be accountable and responsible for the vehicle and cargo entrusted to you until final destination;
• Strictly abide to the established delivery routing and delivery sequence only
• Adhere to the loading and unloading procedures as assigned
• Ensure that safety measures as per AEL manual are strictly adhered to at all times; and any other measures that according to you are requested for business safety

Duties/Responsibilities

• Drive proficiently all vehicles entrusted to you and for which you should hold a valid driving license;
• Ensure that preventive maintenance of the vehicle entrusted to you, is strictly adhered to according to schedule;
• Immediately inform management of any abnormalities which may have been noticed so as to forestall more serious problems;
• See to it that the vehicle entrusted to you, is kept clean and in good running condition at all times;
• To work on shift system and different locations as and when required
• Supervise the work of the Lorry Helper assigned to your vehicle;
  
  

  Requirements:

• Candidate must hold a valid Heavy goods vehicle driving license for driving articulated vehicles and sidelifters. 

• Possess a valid certificate of character .
