Accounts Clerk

The accounts Clerk will be called to assist the finance team in their day-to-day operation and activities.

 

Main duties and responsibilities of the job

  • Post invoices to purchase ledger and prepare cheques for creditors.
  • Post all month end journals.
  • Carry out check and prepare staff purchase list for input in payroll.
  • Filing of outstanding Goods received notes and RTMs.
  • Carry out checks on CIM commission and Interest calculation charged by CIM.
  • File and maintain accounting records and reports.
  • Prepare and process costing.
  • Post banking and journal entries and perform bank reconciliation.
  • Any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • HSC holder
  • At least ACCA level I with 3 years’ working experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and well versed in Excel.
