The accounts Clerk will be called to assist the finance team in their day-to-day operation and activities.
Main duties and responsibilities of the job
- Post invoices to purchase ledger and prepare cheques for creditors.
- Post all month end journals.
- Carry out check and prepare staff purchase list for input in payroll.
- Filing of outstanding Goods received notes and RTMs.
- Carry out checks on CIM commission and Interest calculation charged by CIM.
- File and maintain accounting records and reports.
- Prepare and process costing.
- Post banking and journal entries and perform bank reconciliation.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
- HSC holder
- At least ACCA level I with 3 years’ working experience.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT systems and well versed in Excel.
