The Talent Support Officer is responsible for the administrative support of the training activities and supports the recruitment actions of the department, in compliance with the internal policy initiated by the HR Department.
- Participate in the general administration of the service including and not limited to preparation of letters, documents, filing, scanning, archiving, etc
- Research, analyse and document all the different training and employment schemes which are made available to the company.
- Support the different employment and training schemes such as NSDP, YEP, BTW, Levy, etc through preparation of application, refund of training, follow-up on refund, etc.
- Be the contact person and establish good and close working relationship with the external parties relating to training such as the MQA, HRDC, Business Mauritius, etc.
- Ensure refund of training and employment schemes is done monthly within the prescribed timeframe
- Follow the agenda and schedule of trainings and trainers
- Ensure that the training planned by trainers are registered for the training Levy
- Organise and support the training logistics such as receiving list, preparing trainer’s pack, organizing refreshment where required, etc
- Prepare training certificates for all participants to be filled in the employee file and a record kept in e-filing.
- Assist trainers in the preparation of documents required for training registration with the MQA
- Register training and follow-up with the MQA in accordance to the procedures established.
- Follow-up and inform the management of any change in the legislation, regulation or any other procedures which concerns training and employment schemes
- Escalate any issues or difficulties encountering with external parties to the management within a reasonable time frame so as not to disrupt the activities of the department
- Support the commercial activities of the training centre SRMTC by preparing the required documents – training proposal, agreement, certificates, invoices, HRDC pack, etc.
- Assist SRMTC clients through the HRDC levy procedures and for the training organization with trainers
- Invoice training for SRMTC on a weekly basis
- Prepare the relevant reporting as per the Brink’s standard and as required by the management whether monthly or ad hoc
- Ensure that the records of the training centre is up to date – trainer file, training, etc.
- Assist auditors when required in matters relating to SRMTC
- Participate in the preparation of the annual training plan
- Seek external training providers to support the internal need of Brink’s employees
- Assist the Head of L&D on the training activities for Brink’s Indian Ocean
- Participate to the recruitment activities of the department – Application process, vetting, CV listing, job posting, etc as required.
- Any other cognitive duties which may be required by the management
- Ensure compliance with governance rules such as SOX, Health & Safety and Brinks policies
Knowledge & Experience:
- HSC with relevant experience or degree in Human Resources Management
- Proven experience in administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Intermediate level in Excel preferred
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in training administration and HRDC procedures
