Our client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate should hold at least a Diploma and have prior experience in interviewing and screening of applicants. Good communication and digital literacy are must haves for this role.

 

Responsibilities

The job holder will be responsible:

  • Lead end to end processes for designated portfolio/s
  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and develop hiring tactics for each role
  • Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers and HR Manager/s and lead projects within the team to ensure delivery of recruitment best practice
  • Design job descriptions, manage advertisements on different job platforms as established by the company
  • Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), coordinate background verifications aligned with company processes and manage all follow-up communications
  • Maintain and update all recruitment trackers
  • Participate/Prepare weekly/monthly recruitment reporting
  • Manage internal and external recruitment campaigns, with a focus on candidate experience.
  • Participate in sourcing/headhunting exercise
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues on the team
  • Continually identify new opportunities for key process improvement initiatives that help improve the recruiting strategy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job requirements

  • Minimum Diploma level with at least 1 year in the field of recruitment, including interviewing and screening of applicants.
  • Knowledge of GDPR/Data Protection compliance in recruitment is also essential.
  • Passion for providing a high standard of recruitment and candidate experience
  • Good knowledge of IT
  • Experience in sourcing candidates through a variety of channels such as social media, job boards, headhunting, networking, and niche marketing channels is essential.
  • Detail orientated and confident administering a large volume of activity.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise own workload and to cope under pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing at all levels, is essential, as is the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
  • Demonstrates and displays a good understanding of effective teamwork
  • Ability to escalate issues promptly
