Join our team and be part of something bigger! The Training Coordinator is responsible for leading and implementing a comprehensive training program designed to improve operational efficiency.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Management Support

  • Provide administrative assistance to facilitate a smooth end-to-end Talent Acquisition process for team members.
  • Help coordinate and manage new employee orientation, onboarding, and training programs for team members and store management.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, Area Coaches (AC), and Restaurant General Managers (RGM) to ensure that all critical positions are filled promptly.

 Build People Capability Support

  • Ensure that training initiatives are implemented according to the approved training plan and recommendations.
  • Conduct in-store training audits to identify capability requirements.
  • Support the enhancement of store management skills through effective coaching.

Champion Culture/Org Effectiveness Management & Support

  • Act as an ambassador for KFC Culture values, assisting RGMs in embedding these values at the restaurant level.
  • Manage employee relations matters effectively.
  • Contribute to initiatives promoting Employment Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

 Administrative Work

  • Coordinate logistics and arrange training rooms in partnership with HR and Operations.
  • Provide regular reports to the YUM! HR Business Partner (HRBP) as needed.
  • Ensure that team member performance files are updated by the RGM as necessary.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Training or Human resources, with a solid understanding of HR functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
