TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Provision of technical and mechanical support as well as consultancy advice. Be the key point of contact for a range of products. First line support for all clients’ technical inquiries and applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to clients.

• Provision of pre-sales technical awareness and product education.

• Support marketing activities by conducting and attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

• Conducting seminars / conferences, making technical presentations, and demonstrating how the company product meets and/or exceeds client needs.

• Visiting regularly Consulting Engineers for specifying products marketed by the Company.

• Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.

• Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.

• Provide technical assistance during negotiation of tenders and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.

• Providing technical assistance, training and producing support material for other members of the sales and marketing team of the Company.

• Promoting new imported / locally produced products.

• Responsible for the training unit of STR.

• Work closely with sales force to ensure that projects for contracts are specified with products sold by the Company whether imported or locally manufactured.

• Engage in market surveys.

• In charge of the fusion team and fusion workshop.
