Our client in the Property sector is looking for a dedicated Sustainability Officer to join their team and lead the charge in implementing cutting-edge sustainability initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative sustainability strategies and initiatives aligned with our company's vision and direction.
  • Drive prestigious environmental certifications such as LEED for our buildings, ensuring both local and international acclaim.
  • Monitor and ensure the successful execution of Sustainable Development Goals, providing timely reports to management.
  • Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports in accordance with international standards, showcasing our commitment to sustainability.
  • Manage submissions to rating agencies and banks, ensuring top scores and standing within our industry.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of ESG data to identify areas for improvement, researching and benchmarking against market best practices.
  • Devise, implement, and update sustainability policies and procedures to reflect current trends and requirements, while also developing engaging sustainability content for public consumption.
  • Lead efforts in identifying new business requirements, capabilities, and technology adoption to further enhance our sustainability efforts.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements to gather feedback and promote a culture of sustainability within the company.
  • Coordinate various ESG initiatives in alignment with our company's ESG Roadmap, collaborating with other departments on audit, risk, and compliance projects.
Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/ Civil Engineering or Sustainability related degree or any equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in sustainability or a related field with a sustainability technical and project management background.
