OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

As the Survey Technician you will support and participate in the surveying activities by liaising with clients, conducting site measurements, processing and analyzing data and preparing technical reports. It ensures accurate and efficient project execution through effective communication and technical support.  

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Client Liaison

• Coordinate meetings with clients to discuss project requirements and expectations.
• Understand client needs and tailor proposals and deliverables accordingly.

       2.  Site Surveying

• Review project plans, gather necessary equipment and conduct site safety assessments.
• Operate drones to capture photographs of the site from multiple angles, including measurement points.
• Identify any constraints or challenges that may impact the project and report to the Head Surveyor.

       3.  Technical Reporting

• Prepare and submit weekly technical reports summarizing findings from site visits and measurements, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

       4.  Team Communication

• Collaborate with team members, sales team and operations teams to ensure alignment across all project stages and requirements.

Profile Requirements

• Holder of Diploma or Certificate in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in surveying or Electrical or Photovoltaic Industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in IT and CAD software.
• Possess a good knowledge of Electrical Distribution board and photovoltaic components.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized with effective time management.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
• Self-motivates with a proactive approach to work.

Other Requirements

• Valid Driving License.
