The Supply chain Analyst will be responsible for analysing logistics data, generating reports, and providing insights that support the efficient operation and strategic decision-making of the logistics department. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

  • Review logistics data to find trends and areas for improvement.

Reporting:

  • Create reports to help track shipments, manage inventory, and monitor performance.

Process Improvement:

  • Work with the logistics team to suggest ways to improve efficiency and cut costs.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with teams from procurement, warehouse, and customer service to make sure data is accurate and shared on time.

Forecasting:

  • Help predict future logistics needs based on past data and trends.

System Management:

  • Use logistics tools to manage data and keep reports accurate.

Backup Support:
Provide support to other team members when needed, especially during busy times or staff absences.

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent.
  • Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and logistics software/tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
